Aqua Vault Backflow Preventers Assemblies are mechanical devices that prevent wastewater in your property pipes from “backflowing” into the city’s water system, either polluting it (affecting the odor, color or taste of the water), or contaminating it (causing illness or death when ingested). Backflow can also make its way into your clean water pipes and occurs when water pressure is low.
